Aubrey Wood is an artist from West Hartford, Connecticut, now living in Los Angeles, California. As a teenager, Aubrey began writing and producing her own material, putting out her first EP at 16 years old, and her second at 18. Influenced by songwriters such as Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Grimes, Aubrey is known for her intricate guitar-picking style, candid word-smithing abilities, and desire to transform pop into a gritty and sincere narrative.
In 2011, the singer-songwriter moved to Los Angeles to continue her artistry and broaden her collaborating and performing opportunities within Southern California. She has since worked closely with songwriter, artist, and producer, Gia Sky, together releasing singles that have sparked interest among artists and entities around the world such as as Ian Thomas, m-flo, popular magazine Marie Claire, online video game OurWorld, Facebook, and more.
In most recent years, Aubrey has been assisting artists in co-writes for projects across the globe. However, while Aubrey continues to collaborate with artists on their own projects, she's excited to showcase her own artistry in 2019 with new sounds and stories on the horizon.
